Art Chicago 2009: So many artists, so little time...

I had been hoping to spend a lot more time at Artropolis this year than I did last year. A show this vast should really be visited over a period of a few days. And that was what I planned to do. But as usual, things came up and I ended up having to squeeze everything into one day. And of course, that was the last day. There was so much to see and so many artists caught my eye. Here are a few of them:

Ray Beldner, Moneybags

Thomas Doyle, Clearing (UXO)

Oliver Marsden, Violet Black Harmonic

Dave and Jenn, We told Adam we'd get over this

Yuken Teruya, Rain Forest

Iain Baxter, Still Life, Mesh and 3 Crushed Bottles

Eung Ho Park, I'm Looking at You

Russell West, Chunk

Mitsuo Miura, S/T. Show Window 04.05

Kyong-Yeoul Kim, The Battle- Da Vinci & Dali

Erika Rothenberg, Another Century of Progress

Luo Qing, Comfortably Numb

Marco Casentini, McDonald's Breakfast

Dietrich Wegner, Cumulous Brand, Sabine & Sebastian

Sarah McKenzie, Interior 4
