another use for my mini paintings

Since I love miniatures, I noticed right away that my 3"x5" paintings are just the right size for a dollhouse, whether 1 inch scale or play scale (Barbie size). See for yourself:

  1. You have a whole cottage industry in your palm! Perfect for modern doll houses AND architecture and stage set models. Very cute with the dolls, though. Keep it up!

  2. I thought I should tell you about this juried show, Salvage, in Pennsylvania. As the name implies, they are only accepting artwork made from recycled materials. The deadline is May 1st.

  3. Thanks, Sunflower Ranch! I hadn't even thought about architectural models. Maybe because the one I made in design school was so ugly... Anyway, that is a great idea!

Chris, thanks for the info about that show. I will definitely enter it.

  4. That's really neat to create a miniature art gallery for dolls.

  5. Thanks, Barry. It's funny, it all started because I wanted to take a few shots for my Etsy store showing that the paintings could work in a dollhouse. And the project has kind of taken on a life of its own. I plan to photograph every modern doll in my collection in the mini gallery. I still have several more pictures to take.
