Sapphire Desire
Sapphire Desire
Acrylic on cardboard
16"x12"
2012
$150
Why is my new painting, Sapphire Desire, in shades of Citibank blue? I have no idea. But I really like those colors together. I am a fan of manganese blue, and of course cerulean, turquoise, and teal. Put them together and you have something magical.
Look closer and you see touches of metallic accents.
And when the light hits it from just the right angles, such dramatic shadows!
Like it? Buy it on Etsy. It ships for free to customers in the US (not in Alaska or Hawaii.) If you happen upon this post after it's been sold, don't despair. I can make a similar custom painting for you. Click here to learn more about my commissioned art process.
