My Featured Guest Artist for June: Anna Todaro

My featured guest artist for June is the multi-talented Anna Todaro.  She creates both fine and wearable art.  I am so excited to have her at my open studio.  Here's a little more about her work:

"As an acrylic painter, I strive to create work which uplifts and inspires and at the same time is urban and sweet."

Anna was born in Chicago, IL. She studied painting at Northern Illinois University (BFA 2004). Anna currently lives and works in Chicago, IL.
Anna has always been very imaginative and began making paintings in high school.  Anna lived in Portland, OR from 2004-2010, where she developed her own unique painting style.

As you can see, her paintings are an unlikely combination of pop cultural references and sumptuous pastel colors.  Her fashion accessories and jewelry are equally whimsical and fun.

Come by the studio June 8th to meet Anna and buy some of her lovely art and accessories!  I will be serving some refreshments inspired by Anna's delicious color palette.
