I really enjoyed attending this years
Expo Chicago art show at Navy Pier. Although there wasn't as much searing social commentary as
last year, there were still a lot of interesting things to see there.
But first, as an interior designer I have to say that I really liked Galerie Gmurzynska's booth. The little enclosed tent spaces allow viewers to have an up close and intimate experience with the artworks enclosed within them.
Also it coordinated well with the bohemian chic outfit I was wearing Sunday, which was as serendipitous as finding a free 4 day Expo pass lying on the sidewalk.
Here are the pieces that caught my eye.
Still hoping that someday I will have my work in such an important show.
