Sad news: this year's Inspired Home Show has been canceled due to coronavirus concerns. I'm disappointed because I had really been looking forward to attending. I imagine it's even worse for all the vendors who had planned for this for months, and all the businesses near McCormick Place that were hoping to profit from the huge influx of visitors. And now it's just hitting me that pretty much everything I'm looking forward to doing this year—trade shows, art shows, film festivals, and conferences—is at risk of getting canceled because of coronavirus. These are the kind of events that can't be replicated virtually. Some things have to be experienced in person.
