The
Gold Coast Art Fair is a great show with a confusing name. Even though it's called The Gold Coast Art Fair, it happens in Grant Park. Yesterday I had a chance to visit before it started raining. It was great to see artists I've seen at that show before or at other local shows, like
Sharon Spillar, Tim McWilliams, and
Akese Stylelines. There were a lot of great artists this year. I wanted to start with
Pigment International because I know a few of the artists in the collective, including
Minnie Watkins,
Dana Todd Pope, and
Lesley Martinez Etherly. The group has three booths with a wide range of work.
Here are some other artists whose work really impressed me.
Today is the last day of the show. Admission is $10 per person and it starts at 10 a.m. and ends at 6 p.m. You can visit the official site for the
Gold Coast Art Fair at this link.
